We believe great design lasts forever but with use and feedback we learn to get better so every season we introduce updates to make the Speed glove even better. The latest Speed glove is fully CE approved.
The Speed motorcycle glove design consists on over 20 individual 'panels' all designed to fit to the contours of your hands while riding, all hand cut from the finest hides, perforated in the right places. The Speeds feature double stitched seams and a triple stitched thumb.
The Speed design blends style and substance with knuckle protection painstakingly designed to be refined and discreet. (If you prefer gloves without knuckle protection explore our glove collections. Speed also features a double layer underside panel and under thumb reinforcement without the usual 'bulk'. A padded, oversized silicone Velcro strap provides a super tight closure without snagging and our unique velcro buddy tabs offer extra protection and keep your gloves together when not in use. Let's not lose sleep over the one that never made it home.
Inside you will find a poly satin lining for a smooth, comfortable feel, free of hard inclusions or rogue stitching. Speed gloves are designed for optimal airflow with our unique 'cooling fin' design allowing the Speed to dry quickly after getting wet. Delicate upper padding offers enough inner temp to keep you rolling right through until autumn without ever getting sticky in the heat. 78 Speed gloves are CE approved and touch screen compatible.

Love my Speed gloves so much, I can't stop admiring them while riding! The cherry red colour was exactly what I was looking for... the fit is perfect and feels protective, but still allows plenty of dexterity. Anthony was so responsive and helpful in figuring out my size too, I'd order another pair in a heartbeat! If you're thinking of buying, I 100% recommend them, you won't regret it!
My second pair of these gloves the first having lasted years. this pair are made of good material and quality finish.
Big fan of the buddy strips on inside of the wrist to keep gloves together nice touch with touch pads on index finger
only criticism is the right hand glove is slightly tighter fit than the left minor thing.
Waited a few weeks before writing this review. Received as a Xmas present and unfortunately that pair was too small. The Christmas elves worked magic and arranged a bigger size. I have to admit, they are damn fine gloves. They look and feel special and I can tell thought went into them. Every stitch in PERFECT, the fit spot on and the leather wonderful. I recommend the Cherry red (Wow!) I'm a much more attractive rider as a result! Thank you 78 :-)

Just replaced my first pair of Speed gloves after around 5 years of use. They have been great for everyday use and I probably could have used them a couple more years. I wanted a new color. Durable, comfortable, and functional. The only. Gloves I ever buy. Thank you 78 Motor Co.!!!
