This is my third pair of gloves from 78 Motor and again a five star rating for fit and comfort. Nothing pinches, no chafing.
However, one star deducted for the quickly faded leather on the top of the glove. I'm now using it for the second season and the originally dark Merlot has faded to a light to medium brown. Let's call it patina.
Hey Thomas! Thanks for the review. Just some feedback. This is the Merlot Sonora made from the highest grade natural hides that is affected by prolonged UV exposure if not treated with leather balm regularly. In California you enjoy the sun much more than in the UK! Please treat your gloves with some quality leather balm and this will help recover the colour. :-)
5 stars all round. Really premium feel to the gloves, nice fit already but I feel it will get even better over time. Absolutely unique and super stand out colour way. The perforations are just wonderful in the summer heat. Big fan.
And getting in touch with 78 to chat about the right size was mega easy, and we got the correct option.

These gloves are sensational. The moment I ripped the wrapping paper open and saw these I knew they were the best gloves I've ever had. (Merlot is stunning BTW) I really wasn't sure what to expect always knowing I could return them if they didn't work out. Thankfully 78 delivered and I can barely take them off (sounds crazy, right?) they are perfect, the fit is perfect, the quality unreal and the service was really great. Well deserved guys. Thank you (I'll be back for more). Please if you read this make a lined pair in light grey.

They are stunning gloves. The fit is spot on like a second skin without the usual loose fit. Quality is the best i've seen with soft thick leather, perfect stitch detail and love the 78 wrist patch. They feel great especially after a few hours on and let the air in on these hot days. My first pair but won't be my last.
